Program: Mental Health And Justice - Court Support - Aurora

Description of Services: Court support is available to individuals with mental illness and/or: concurrent disorders (addictions and mental illness), Acquired Brain Injury, ASD, FASD, Dual Diagnosis, Alzheimer’s and Dementia who are involved in the Criminal Justice system and have outstanding charges at the Bradford or Newmarket Courthouses. Services offered: - Practical and emotional support to clients and families navigating the court system - Assistance with bail/release plans - Guidance and support with filling out a Form 2 - Screening and support for Community Treatment Court (CTC). CTC requires regular court appearances by the client, as well as documentation on diagnoses and treatment progress.

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Clients with Legal Issues Only
Application: Referrals are welcomed from all. Interested clients may visit the office in the Newmarket or Bradford courthouses, or contact by telephone. Telephone interpretation service available for all inquiries in more than 170 languages.
