Description of Services:
  • Provides support to individuals of all ages living with the effects of acquired brain injury through education, public awareness, information and advocacy
  • Peer Support Program
    • Connects individuals coping with an acquired brain injury with individuals whose life experiences involve similar situations, needs, and interests
    • Provides support
    • Offered for survivors, family members, and/or caregivers
    • Coordinated through local brain injury associations
    Therapeutic Garden Project
    • Partnered with Partners In Rehab to provide a garden space and a therapeutic recreation specialist
    • Supports participants in learning new skills and gaining knowledge
    • Allows participants to assist with gardening tasks and talk with like-minded individuals

    Fees: Membership - Annual
    Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Membership

    • Open to all individuals who are survivors, caregivers, family members ages 16 and up or health care professionals or others who work with people who have sustained an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)
