Description of Services: Provides opportunities for adults with intellectual disabilities who want to learn new skills that will assist them in overcoming employment barriers and help them in attaining successful competitive employment

Coordinators provide assistance with the following:
  • assists in career exploration
  • helps in developing a professional resumé and meet potential employers
  • advocate on the candidate's behalf to employers
  • sets up and attends interviews if required
  • provides job coaching and support
  • assists as a liaison with the employer
  • assists individuals in understanding work tasks, rules, regulations, and pay procedures
