Description of Services: Breast screening for early detection of breast cancer in women

Screening includes mammography (x-rays of breast tissue) * screening results are sent to both the woman and her doctor

Women who receive normal results are automatically recalled for their next screening appointment * women who receive abnormal results are referred to their doctor for further investigation, or are referred directly for additional tests

Call main number between 8am-4pm * must have a written order from the doctor

  • enter through the main entrance facing Bovaird Drive
  • take the Leaf elevators to the 2nd level
  • turn right as you exit the elevator, then turn left and follow the signs

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Women 40-74 years and women between 30-69 years identified as having a high-risk for breast cancer
Application: Call for appointment * no referral required for women between 40 and 74 years * medical referrals also accepted for women between 30 and 69 years
