Description of Services:	Provides financial support for snack and meal programs in schools, including First Nations schools Funding amount is limited to a maximum of 15% of total estimated cost Provides information on applying for funding Processes grant requests from local communities and schools Coordinates distribution of funds from the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services to local snack and meal programs Participates in regional partnerships and fund-raising efforts Supplies local programs with resources including nutritional information, meal and snack menus and managing volunteers

Eligibility - Population(s) Served:	Does not provide funding to individuals Program is made available to all children and youth Parents and/or caregivers contribute financially or by volunteering in program Organizers provide activity and financial reports on regular basis Program must show that parents and local community have provided funding Indicates separate line in bank account under its own name
