Description des services:	Offers a variety of community services in the area of safety and health including the following: Medical First Response Services Provides volunteer-based Medical First Response at local community events Therapy Dog Program Takes a volunteer and their dog to visit hospitals, retirement homes, and long term care facilities within the community Evaluates volunteers and their dogs to become part of the program Youth Services Offers children and youth ample opportunity for fun, along with learning first aid and life skills while giving back to the community Offers SJA Connect, a health, safety and leadership development program to prepre youth to assist in community emergencies and disasters Provides a Youth Cadet Program with training, local community volunteering services, leisure activities and participation at local events to teach youth to become valued and vital community members

Exigences
Frais:	$200 for MFR, $100 for Therapy Dogs

Admissibilité / population desservie:	Medical First Response Team: Volunteers must be at least 16 and have a St John Standard First Aid and Level C CPR Certificate Therapy Dog: Must be at least 18 and own a dog (dog will be evaluated for correct temperament) Youth Services: Children and youth between 14-18 years of age
